The new religious left have nothing to say

They started by saying there must be a better way ,which is OK,  but "which branching off when" ,They had no idea ,   they still have no idea
Starting off a new religion was never going to work but Labor and the Greens  signed up.  Too far back you hackers.
Sure they talked up some of the inadequacies of the old Western institutions but they forget the real future of any "evolution" is in reform , not revolution .You have to understand the enemy before you can defeat him.
Greenlabor is running a new religion where they expect moral sacrifice (CC control by us stop burning coal) , don't talk reasonable actions or even theories . Might have a worked a little longer except the people didn't buy in to the incomprehensible action plan and who was paying for this unsustainable irrational and highly costly religion to survive

Labor has lost its way.

A lot of wannabes are outta touch ; we in the country have known this for decades
They live and move and have their being in a flat landscape ; infront of screens and other flat surfaces like roads houses and cities .fact checking what they don't really understand,hoping that one day the wicked world of rhetoric will one day prove itself to be the holy place that the media have made it. ( oh dear )
At the crossroads with the unbelieving tyranny of the Greens, Labor needs to decide whether it has the guts to run a revolution,  and what form that would take ( so far nothing concrete) ;
The only option Labor has  is to see the benefits of Conservative history and then grow to gain ground by running back into stable substantial sustainable elements of history with the reformers
.Greenlabor greenlabor.blogspot.com has lost the practical connection with the productive that can make real sustainable change work . Instead of real change, they give us  have imagined change. Quickfix . A secret garden  ( you can't get a plan its content and processes for evil control are hidden) where things die and we don't know why . Pity these immature practitioners don't know the first rule of conservation/road to tyranny and fanaticism -- labor still has some power .
Long term pain follows short term gain   if you don't understand and respect the economy of the ecosystem you get it wrong - you waste taxes meant to do good .

Democracies at Risk - AUSTRALIA

Background - the victory of the pedants over the principled. Labors insistence on the myopic dominance of one vote one value has meant for those living in the wide brown land that they are under the tyranny of being told what the regions problems/challenges/opportunities  are by those in the cities who simply do not know them .

Yes we have had a miracle here in Australasia in May 2019( and there are bit challenges elsewhere ) but here is ours alive well and still to threat our home and ability to reason well together down under 

A growing threat 
I was drawn into politics simply because even though I had one of the best jobs in the world working with some of the most productive people in the world, the city started telling us how to look after the earth. That would have been fine if the city knew something we didn't ( and
I didn't have a post grad from our great education system ) but nothing in 3 decades of dealing with the most arrogant and ignorant alliance of ideologues I know means  means Greenlabor should back off and show some respect .

The battle is certainly lost as the Vic state level for decades with Labor now settled into a comfortable  sense that they know something about something that requires our best skills and competencies. The comfortable team of reactionaries does not realize that if not done well  attempted governance in ignorance risks  the lives and minds and careers of those who are competent to deal with complex environmental and production  challenges.

Corangamite won't be lost to Labor

Been out campaigning listening ..........and its exhausting.
I don't intend to connect the dots but

Corangamite should have been won by Labor on the numbers. It was designed to .The fact that democracy is structurally in trouble is one thing we have to live with for the moment . Nothing good for the country is going to happen while the compromisers see their numbers to stay in power (see earlier posts ) .. 
So why you might ask ? Because of  forces many do not see and not everyone is a pedant and lives and moves and has their being on words and numbers .    

1. There is a deep mystery in true Democracy . Mere Parties, like us as human individuals, are all corrupt . The choice ( because we have to choose parties - political decisions are  always hard )is always for some form of corruption . If you accept that reality you will participate ( cause Churchill said its best ) and you will choose the people ( the individuals) you trust the most .

1. Make your choice pedants - norms or names in control .The shallow thing about this campaign being "too presidential shows how pedantically simple and reactionary most post moderns are. When the progressives new thing is not working and when the parties look a mess,  any president stands out - that doesn't mean its right eh! 
2. The children are in charge of two of the parties at least ( if not the Senate) and many thinking people KNOW it even if media do not  ,
   Tanya and Richard squabbling over who was going to be best at changing the world was all teh electorate needed to see 
3. Bill was clearly making promises he couldn't keep.
   
   And don't think it was all about the BB worried about their self funded schemes . It was, in part,   but as we have found before in 2007 in Corangamite and  since --when you still have more sense than our city centrics  we know  this truly conservative statement  to be true .

A guide for the young voter

  With even just a few passionate young people - there is great hope for the future
What my generation don't get is that thinking young people don't trust the parties - esp the majors .
Why do those mature enough to know better get sucked in when the Majors pitch their story to get power , Innocent Christians,  in particular seem vulnerable to the naming of best intention when they should know that behind the surface can lurk great evil  .
With even just a few passionate young people - there is great hope for the future . Pity my generation have infected them with their own cynicism.

Why don't the people trust Labor - .........or for that matter..... the ABC

Background - just in case you missed it .
Most people in the regions are watching Skynews  and they have only had easy access to it in recent months . Perhaps these people are stupid, easily led, bad business people (if you can do business out here you can do it anywhere)   or , just shallow, fickle ( or needing someone to listen to them  so they don't commit suicide ), or ....perhaps .....they don't trust their own TV  broadcaster who uses taxpayer funds to remind us of just how good they are . Whatever the truth ABC families and ABCTV presenters and producers have a lot to answer for .

This election campaign May 2019.  When ABC commentators suggested Shorten had won the debate on 72 we all thought - "were we watching the same debate "? . The ABC kindergarten  group of fact checkers are right about the need for facts but  they are not always reporting the ones they think don't fit the story  - not their job to judge . Too often its commentary not reporting - let us be the judge and stop wasting OUR time on YOUR version?  You would think ABC journalists would resist gutter talk but no "Barnaby is guilty before the  trial " ( the now compromised election trial  named as Watergate ) and ABC's selection of Ad Hominem is fine - to report on

Many of us are saying in this campaign
So why don't the people  we know trust Labor? I mean after seeing how Wong and Burke messed up in myth over decades over MD and still can't get it right,  I know I would never ever trust them to look after the environment,,,,,,  but Bill ? He's nice enough .
The trouble is, just  like Daniel Andrews , he is defending,  like most puppets , what is behind him - and that group is neither unified, consistent of even remotely competent  . The disease comes to the surface as confounding trite and confusing.  When we here cries of disunity we think; " takes one 2 know one??"
Unlike the LNP,  who are predictable , what we "see" in the image is  a coalition that' we don't see - its a compromise hidden from the public .
 The reality is that Labor has been losing credibility for years and the minor parties are their links to survival... . at least till now

ANSWER

Labor is lost , and has lost credibility in its own right, by trying to deny its coalition with the Greens and other fringe groups..Vote Labor and you don't know what you will get !
 You would think , as an ABC viewer, that the Conservatives ( esp Nationals) were on the nose ,when its really Labor that's been losing support for decades ( eg Rudd dressed up as one ).

As we all know the Greens are going off in a big way and Labor should be shoring up the marriage for its own sake. However avoiding the issue of tough talk they drag us both into the clouds with fairyland talk &tax( nothing concrete) about “a climate election “ .
The reality deep down,  in their lack of thinking is many of the groups in this hidden coalition actually  think alike and are now just as shallow ,impractical and unscientific  as each other ( see the posts below ) .
Paradoxically, If Labor should  win Corangamite it won’t be a victory for democracy , but the very denial of it,- disproportionate representation . See the original maps of federation and their regional rather than citified focus

And don't forget the false unity and political inertia created by groups living on naturalistic fallacies

Pushing sh.. uphill

New labor is not like old Labor - it relies on support from those whose only faith is in the naturalistic fallacy.

 If you follow that simple logic you not only get lost but you become committed  to change only what worked before, because intervention IS  not natural;  you become an enemy of our civilization . not a friend as many in the alternative news sector  and environmental ecos are telling us.You encourage inertia .


EXAMPLES
See Labors  idea and commitment  to making water , pushing sewerage around with 1.5 volts and lots of coal to make more water, charge the batteries for their new wonder cars,  stopping more dead and dying trees with more Council meddling and buying credits overseas .   . If the aforementioned   is all that the grand schemers for a Climate change election and taxgrab for change  can  come up with - be assured its a lot of hot air for no result . Like the last time they were in power
Why would people vote for a party whose failure to deliver on their promises last time was the reason they lost power ? whose cost benefit package in the form of Bill , noone, not even  even Bill  can explain

Consequences of the new religion
It maybe popular and comfortable ( The faith says " Its only me that matters ") to use the naturalistic fallacy,  but it's not practical - we live in society . As  pointed out ALSO by Moore et al the mixing of fact with moral norms means you can't always separate the too when a bit of logic or reason is required .And that need is quite often .

As half the country knows,  the attempt by vegans  to take the moral high ground over animal cruelty can work a lot of angst with the easily confounded when  the naturalistic fallacy is the only faith that many people now have . The fact that vegans aren't the only ones to care for animals and the ways in which they do that --   is NOW not possible to discuss,  because  of the anti naturalist assumption .

The point is as David Christian has pointed out Progressives can't argue that we are making progress if the result of much of our educational efforts ( fillin em with facts) results in Epistemological despair and worse - A default position -a bunch of DIMWITS Doing It My Way Is Truth Societies     . Instead of being like the thinking unbelievers and believers alike say we should be ( using verified facts ) Christian notes that growing numbers of people just latch onto the naturalistic fallacy - which avoids argument

The last days of our democracy?

 How would caring people feel if they knew that they have rejoiced in the loss of voice for a major group of great contributors to our economy .
Those of us who have lived and worked in the country for most of our lives, know that its been getting worse every year.

Overview 
Today we have run out of energy: our advocates too old and battle worn to do much .  Finally retiring  from a task that is getting harder each year .Who cares ?- Labor has called some of us quitters


With 36% of the population living off welfare and possibly over 50% on public service jobs what hope have the productive got in a numbers game     

Progressives continue to ignore the fact that their changes to the Electoral act ( numbers only) mean they will,  by default,  keep taking seats off the Conservatives. No real credit to Labor wannabes.

As the election result is based on numbers only , our depleting numbers mean the SW of Victoria  is now only one electorate.   WANNON  now goes from Colac to the SA border .
Named after Lake Corangamite ( which is no longer in it ) the seat will need a name change  How about Seachangers paradise ?

If the former rural seat of Corangamite goes in May  it will be nothing to do with the better representative.  It will  be because the city and its reason rules  (see the redistribution based on numbers ) .
This inherent loss factor forms a reason for great depression out here especially when the progressives read their growing  dominance of  Parliament at both a State and Federal level as something due to their cleverness.  A Brexit feeling of sorts - we feel like a divorce is needed.

The city has been rejoicing about its wisdom about the environment ( and productive industry protections_ ..  we ignore the insult
We are used to having our reps treated like dinosaurs by the press  but to have Barnaby ( or anyone)  put on trial in the election period is a sign of a complete loss of respect for processes that made our country great . 

Trial by Media --worse than even in Lindy's days where they would wait for court . 
Journos all over the country can't see what they are doing wrong , Lindy Chamberlain was fortunately given a voice by Ahndo , No recompense can provide justice for trial by media, Thanks to Meryl Streep the world knows that our media can . with the people , crucify the innocent . 36 years later for Lindy - who cares once the election is over . Many journos either  don't know what Ad hominem means or are ignoring it . 
Such is the kindergarten logic of progressives that they have never questioned their righteousness in insisting on numbers only -- in the face of democratic history (Where its never just been about numbers like it is now !!)

More pain for no gain

Re Minister Neville announces water and energy savings by pumping sewerage with solar.   
Looks like someone's is in for a shock overnight-- The streets awash. 
 What a cheap see through  election stunt .......that won't even work 

  Might as well run those pumps  on batteries - but then they too have to be charged overnight with coal ?  God help the country when Labor runs the sewer pumps on solar ,,, let alone anything else


These are more of Labors zero sum games----- where its just more pain for no gain. 
Does anyone really believe Minister Neville can make water cheaper by her ever changing water supply  tricks? She doesn't want to use her windmills to pump her coal made water cause those pumps  aren't working reliably either. ( picture below on Princes Highway near Colac ).
 
 Last month she promised to make more water with coal, pump it around with more coal and now she 's pretending its going to be suddenly cheaper by pumping it around with solar.
Nobody who knows anything about the subject believes her, or the capacity of her new zero emissions bureaucracy to do anything but meddle .

Labor has finally realized the water stuff , like the great burden of an incompetent government and their new bureaus , is super  heavy. 
Buying into solar at a cheaper wholesale price is no news when she is not really saving Victorians anything.

The only guarantee for us at this election is that we will be the bunnies that pay when their ongoing false rectification breaks down and they use more of our gas and taxes,  just to keep themselves going .

And there are still lots of them and they are all as simple,  in some ways,  as each other . Oh to be a confused cynic and spend my life believing nothing in particular and be vulnerable to everything in general  ( - esp old dressed up as new clothes ) NOT!

Many are shocked that despite all the media pressure to ridicule believers they are still out there - making perfect and imperfect sense just like the rest of us. Whats really shocking and dangerous  though is the denial. The denial in the media is leading to the denial of free speech.

Well pity these blind guides have to rely on their own wisdom,  for it doesn't cut like the spiritual revolutions of the past into the two natures and two freedoms of man; it doesn't deal with guilt ! -and fear and fear of being caught out - i could go on .
The real trouble with the reactionaries is their failure to address this paradox "  Man - he says one thing and does another' and so in media linkages of great length we follow a long line  of justification called " my fact checks " where one  tries to cover ones  tracks ......and the stupid follow - why ??.where his problem is bad and my problem is one I don't admit to.

. Pity the reactionaries haven't got into real oikonomia  ( economics, ecology  and house building)   because they would realize that,  without a mature big picture judge in the household,  the children take charge . This is the real scientific and natural starting point for the big picture.

Those of us who have lived through the down times of Easter to learn to love it,  know that these pathetic moments of mental illness projection and mind manipulation cannot last .

One day in the future,  the children of the world will celebrate Easter they way we all ought to .Fully framed with denial guilt and repentance in the frame.

What a bunch of desperate and ignorant hypocrites on the environment. Did you get it people? - stop following the Greens around . At best they only half know the problem - lets say no more about what they don't know about solutions. Even the city KNOWS ( if they think about it )  that tree removal is SO already tied up so that you can't even bring down one of tree without creating hell . Everyone in Australia except Greenlabor  knows that Councils are spending our money doing nothing but play games in this area.

Tribal warfare is sapping our energy

You don't have to be Einstein to realize that the West is in a desperate state. We don't know what works and polys are the last ones to admit it. Psyches like JP are out telling us we are in a fanatically defensive mood with denial and guilt wiped all over the other blokes face . As Paul Kelly has observed, the huge tribal wars are sapping our energy; we are reduced to throwing blame and shame .

We have to get back on the road to something that works.

One thing that doesn't really work in this world is blind efficiency, the blinkered efficiency we impose on ourselves if we worship in Capitalist, Scientism  or Marxists schools . Whether its control of money, good intention or mind control of men ----its madness .(Mark Manson is onto the unsustainable  toxic  sentimentality of the left too) . 

The tyranny of attempted mind and behaviour control ( even if it only starts with the worst idiots ) is the most frightening and dangerous form of fanaticism. The sound psyche of “takes one to know one “ suggests projection  is involved and is working on transfers of  our guilt to the other bloke.
 If we re going to keep going places after the next election we need to focus on talk which shows we are working and thinking together – and rely on  the few in public life who tap our best,  These are surely the ones who encourage us to insist on the golden rule and avoid the cynical unsustainable and desperate use of the iron rule ,
