Albo seems like quite a nice guy, Machiavelli might have chosen him had he lived in the age of puppet kings , but he didn't . In his time there was no time to play with public sentiment and the empty vestiges of a post Christian culture like pollies do now --- weak liberals and weak labor and woke everyone .Most of the people have no idea what the commandments mean and how good they are for us and for keeping some order
You see we are back to a Godless time like his ( then too :- a facade of Catholicism which with no Christlikeness is a recipe for self righteous hidden daggers and judgement but totally undeserved honor for it survives on survival instincts ) In M's time there was this same facade of " doing right" but in practice there was , like then , no idea of what VIRTUE really was and therefore zero commitment to it -- it's ALL about staying in power . That publicly welcome facade of righteousness really helps in our overly sentimental age - ask the Premiers about just how easy they drew a crowd with all their "caring concern "through COVID ,
You see, words, not mere majorities ,do carry weight, but actions (and inaction ) speak far louder again .
Emotion , as Machiavelli notes and as Greenlabor lives on, carries more weight that the mere GREAT of the GREAT will ever do . Emotion has the power to draw the crowd ; the GREAT are only ever few .
Albo cries a lot ,but hangs around with the popular ones in a vain attempt to be more popular . He and his string pulling advisors want to make his very shaky coalition look like something united . Its so laughable ,it should make the country cry. I am sure plenty of the left bench just wanna hide at the moment . We are certainly paying for it . It is never going to be easy under the facile weight of an emotion driven Albanese.
Come on people , no more sentimentality and self righteous crap from the top . It stinks and the years ahead will cost us and leave us out in the cold ---with only once nice thoughts .
Read some Machiavelli and return to reality . Forget being just nice !
After all, the daggers are already out , if the demons can't cancel the real coalition of the country they will try and cancel the individual , Dutton . Morrison , Abbott and Lehrman,
Greenlabor are at great pains to look good on the surface putting Plibersek behind Watts and that man who can't stop smiling on the front page : he is finally in charge of all our money -Is he not the ultimate idiot ? He thinks because there is money in the bank he and his party can still play God with it.
Get real you pathetic wasters of public money, and time, Ditch with Sitch your hypocritical talk of knowing what you are doing , your shallow talk of mandates and your fight for moral high ground ( Paul Kelly in this weekend's Australian )-- so muddy is the high ground that its not clear where it is.
TAKE THIS HALF BAKED VOICE CASE referendum
Readers will find the Trojan horse in the words "composition , functions, powers and procedures "2B written for eternity by http://greenlabor.blogspot.com
Even Grayling and most of England is against the way dumb pollies assume a mandate from a referendum ( eg Brexit ) .And how the people are learning to hate major parties doing MAINLY what tiny minorities want them to do .....in the once good name of democracy .

I have just yesterday enjoyed the reflections of 2 students of Aboriginal culture and their excitement over truths their forebears learned about how to live with the land- This is great because I too am at great pains to insist that my white mates stop ignoring the lessons learnt by our forebears.
And surprise, surprise, it was a great surprise because the public tend to run with quick fix and flavor of the month talk about what works; and there is still a great risk of that coming from such a meeting of minds,
THE POSITIVES
The comfort in the chat was that the focus was on learning consensus and a future built on better science in producing better outcomes.
THE GREAT RISK
The great risk with THE VOICE is that it will be just another ignorant and arrogant diversion away from consensus into another decade of distraction based on media presentation's with" look what we have discovered " and the much more terrible thing of war based on a false idea of who did what wrong and where and why that justifies us doing we want to do now.
The focus MUST BE in setting up effective executive that insists on learning consensus and a future built on better science in producing better outcomes.
