A leader who is down to fixing potholes should leave. Any reasonable rep would have got the job done right first time.
A leader who lets other pushy people tell him what to do is no leader.
Our current cringing bunch of fearmongers have let our roads go to pot because they have let their noisy friends worries about our use of chemicals cause them to stop us and them in our tracks .
Take the growing paranoia about glyphosate which Clarkson's farm has reminded the world will send us back into the dark ages because we can't grow enough food without the right use of them.
This growing fear and failure to launch its use on pavement edges has left pavements wetter and weaker, contributing to the potholes we all now dodge daily; A major reason for the failure of our roads is the grass that is allowed to grow next to the pavement.
All readers can test glyphosate’s behaviour themselves by observing the yellow brown patched areas closely and see whether the product moves beyond the leaves it touches. Misuse of this quite specifically targeted growth link, or the more dangerous to water surfactants , by spraying before rain, or near waterways, should rightly be penalised.
Let’s, in November, all choose planning competence over this fully fledged fear theatre that sits on the nest and waits for trouble to arrive.

Chemicals are dangerous . some men are careless and we still do not understand very well the physiology of life -- research must continue
Do your own testing . That will help you gain the confidence you need to switch off those noisy characters who constantly seek your attention http://dogood.blogspot.com
